Thank you for purchasing your Nikon Flatbed Scanner ScanTouch 110. This manual describes the procedures for unpacking, setting up, and connecting the scanner, with emphasis on hardware use and precautions. Please read this manual thoroughly to ensure proper operation of your scanner.

For an explanation of how to scan and reproduce images with ScanTouch 110, please refer to the software manual.

We hope that you will find this manual helpful.

ScanTouch 110 is a low priced, full-color flatbed scanner with high- resolution, and is capable of scanning images at high speed.

The optical resolution is 300 dpi x 600 dpi, and high resolution of 4800 dpi x 4800dpi is achieved through the software interpolation.

The scanning area is 8.5 inches (216 mm) wide by 11.7 inches (297mm) long, enabling scanning of letter-size documents.

It offers very high speed scanning of approximately 24 seconds for a color A4 size document at 300dpi.

Installing the optional Transparency Adapter enables scanning of transparencies.

Installing the optional Auto Document Feeder, enables consecutive scanning of multiple documents.
