2.Before Operating the Scanner

Take care not to scratch the surface of the document setting glass, as this will affect the quality of the scanned images.

Do not touch the pins of the SCSI connector, as this may result in static damage.

Do not pull or bend the connecting cable, asthis may cause the cable to break.

Do not move the unit or the document while the unit is scanning, as this may affect the quality of the scanned images.

On no account look at the light source in the scanner, as this may result in eye damage.

Please clean the unit periodically. Dust and dirt will affect the quality of the scanned images.
