Status Indicators

The status indicators show the current status of your computer.

Your computer has system-status indicators as follows:

Indicator					Meaning

a Drive in use					Blue:
						Data is being read from or written to
						the hard disk or optical disc drive
						drive. When this indicator is on, do
						not put the computer into standby
						mode or turn off the computer.

b Num lock					Blue:
						number lock function is activated.
						Number lock function allows some
						of the keyboard letters to act as
						numbers for easier numeric input.
