Per evitare pericolose scosse elettriche, utilizzare sempre il cavo di alimentazione e la spina con una presa di corrente munita di alveolo correttamente collegato alla terra di protezione.
I cavi di alimentazione forniti dalla Lenovo utilizzati negli Stati Uniti e in Canada sono accettati dai laboratori UL (Underwriter’s Laboratories) e certificati dall’associazione CSA (Canadian Standards Association).
Per unità che devono funzionare a 115 volt: Utilizzare cavi di alimentazione approvati dai laboratori UL e certificati dalla CSA, con AWG 18 (minimo), di tipo SVT o SJT, con cavo a tre conduttori, di lunghezza massima di circa 4,5 metri con lama a tandem, con spina dotata di messa a terra da 15 Amp e 125 volt.
