Appendix

Picture is not bright enough.

Projecting from the excessive slant angle to the screen may cause keystone distortion and partial imperfect focus.

Check if "Contrast" or "Brightness" are adjusted properly See page 42.

Check if "Image level" is selected properly See page 41.

Check the LAMP 1/2 REPLACE indicators. If it lights, the end of lamp life is approaching. Replace the lamp with a new one promptly. See pages 66-68, 78.

Check the Lamp control function See page 54.

The color is strange..

– Check the Input signal, color system, video system, or computer

 

system mode.

 

– Adjust the Image level properly. See page 41.

Image is Left/Right reversed..

– Check the Ceiling/Rear function. See page 45.

Image is Top/Bottom reversed..

– Check the Ceiling function. See page 45.

The image is distorted or runs off..

– Check the "PC Adjustment" menu or "Screen" menu and adjust them.

The edge of image is distorted..

– With maximum lens shift, image distortion may be observed.

No sound

– Check the audio cable connection from audio input source.

 

– Adjust the audio source.

 

– Press the Volume + button. See page 29.

 

– Press the Mute button. See page 29.

 

– When the AUDIO OUT is plugged in, the projector's built-in speaker is

 

not available. See page 22.

 

– Is the image projected? You will hear the sound only when the image is

 

projected.

Auto PC adjustment function

– Check the Input signal. Auto PC Adjustment function can not work,

does not work..

when 480p, 575p, 720p, 480i, 575i, 1035i, or 1080i is selected.

– The Auto adj. icon turns gray and cannot be operated with the digital

 

signals. See page 38.

Some displays are not seen

– Check the Display function. See page 56.

The setting does not remain after

– Make sure you selected "Store" after adjusting settings. Some settings

turning off power..

Power management function does

– Power management function cannot work while "Freeze" function is

not work..
