LPS OVERVIEW

Base components

This section briefly describes the standard features of the Xerox

DocuPrint 96/DocuPrint 96MX LPS system controller and printer.

Optional LPS features are described in the “LPS options.” chapter.

The LPS consists of two base components:

System controller

Printer.

System controller components

The system controller is the part of the Xerox DocuPrint 96/ DocuPrint 96MX LPS that allows you to interact with the printer. Use the keyboard display to enter commands and select options which control the operation of the printer. The parts of the system controller are shown in figure 1-2.
