PREINSTALLATION

Power cables DocuPrint 96/DocuPrint 96MX LPS power cable lengths are as follows:

System Controller: 15 feet/4.5 m

Printer: 5 feet/6 feet/1.8 m/4.5 m (60 Hz) 17 feet/5.1m (50 Hz, no plug)

Keyboard/display: 15 feet/4.5 m

Peripheral cabinet option: 15 feet/4.5 m.

Note: Cable length loss must be factored in if equipment is installed in a raised-floor environment. You should also consider that part of a cable’s length is routed inside the equipment to connect with interior power or data receptacles.

Cable locations

To run the cables beneath the flooring effectively, you need to know where the cables enter and exit the printer and the system controller. Figure 3-10 shows those locations (marked with an X).
