CAUTION: If you have to move the printer laid a side or upside down, remove the waste toner container from the printer and move it separately. Or the inside of the printer may be contaminated.

Installing the Toner Cartridges

1Open the front cover.

Remove the toner cartridges from their bags.

Holding the toner cartridges, shake thoroughly them from side to side to distribute the toner.

Remove the cartridges cap.

2Pull and remove the paper protecting the imaging unit.

3Remove four dummy caps which are on the toner cartridge entrances of the imaging unit.

Setting Up Your Printer

NOTE: If toner gets on your clothing, wipe it off with a dry cloth and wash it in cold water. Hot water sets toner into fabric.

7On the imaging unit of the printer, labels identify which colour cartridge goes into each cartridge slot.
