Using show Commands to Display Interface and System Information

To determine which type of port adapter is installed in your system, use the show diag slot command. Speciﬁc port adapter information is displayed, as shown in the following example of a one-port PA-T3 serial port adapter in chassis slot 3 on a Cisco 7200 series router:
