TSXCUSBMBP Settings for Concept & ProWORX32

Introduction

This section describes how to configure Concept & ProWORX32 to work the

TSXCUSBMBP.

Setting the

When using serial Modbus communications with Concept, a delay of approximately

Optimum Baud

50 milliseconds occurs before each Modbus request is transmitted.

Rate in Concept

When using Concept with the TSXCUSBMBP, a serial interface must be selected.

Therefore, the overall throughput of the TSXCUSBMBP with Concept is only slightly

above that of a serial Modbus interface. Setting the baud rate in Concept to 19200

instead of the 9600 default will slightly improve performance.

Setting the

When using serial Modbus communications with ProWORX32, there are no delays

Optimum Baud

inserted and the TSXCUSBMBP runs at the expected USB speed.
