Enabling a User-Supplied Terminator

When using the terminal block, you may install your own external terminator resistor by connecting the ends of the resistor directly to inputs 2 and 3, or by connecting the two ends of the resistor to the wires that emanate from inputs 2 and 3, as shown in the following diagrams.
