In some cases, such as when configuring drivers and software, you will find it convenient to hook NPort Express directly to your computer’s Ethernet card. To do this, you will need to use a cross-over Ethernet cable. This type of Ethernet cable is harder to find, although you can make your own cable by referring to the following cable wiring diagram.
