Product Overview

DESCRIPTION

The SX8205R unmanaged Ethernet switch provides five 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX ports for the transport of bidirectional Ethernet data. Operating as a single switch in a network, the SX8205R module connects to up to five 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Ethernet devices. If a larger switched network is needed, multiple SX8205R switches can be connected by allowing a port on each switch to be used as an uplink port. Refer to Figure 1 for illustrations of single-switch and multiple-switch applications.
