DNS Relay

The DNS Relay webpage contains a conﬁgurable list of DNS server IP addresses. The IPLink’s DNS Relay for- wards DNS queries from a client to a pre-deﬁned DNS server and DNS server responses to the client.

You can conﬁgure the DNS Relay for two IP addresses. These are for access to primary and secondary DNS servers.

Conﬁguring the DNS Relay

Go to the DNS Relay webpage by following the hyperlink path ‘Conﬁguration Menu’ > Services Conﬁgura- tion > DNS Relay. (See ﬁgure 64.)

Enter the IP address of the primary DNS server (see ﬁgure 65) and click on the Create button. Similarly enter the IP address of the secondary DNS server.
