Use the Onscreen Keyboard

You can use the onscreen keyboard to update field information. When a data entry field requires only numbers, the onscreen keyboard displays only numbers.

User Tip: Select Your Information Input Mode

Tap , , , or to select alphabetic, numerical, upper case, or lower case mode. For more information on these keys, see the table Using the Onscreen Keyboard to Enter Information.

To use the onscreen keyboard:

1In the status bar, tap .

This icon displays in the status bar wherever you can enter information in a field.

2To enter information in a specific way—for example, in upper case only and using the ASCII

format—tap and select the options you want, as shown next.

3Press your finger on the character you want.
