RA450 Options

You can order the following options for the RA450:

RA450/HSZ50 controller for redundant controller operation

 

Includes: RA450 6 channel controller, tri-link with terminator, 32MB write back

 

cache expandable to 64MB or 128MB, single cache battery in SBB with cable,

 

serial line cable assembly with adapters (9 pin and 25 pin)

 

Requires: Second Platform Software Kit (QB-5JCAA-SA), cache counts must be

 

the same on each storage controller

 

 

FR-HSSIM-AA

32MB cache module for RA450/HSZ50 controller

 

Use 1 module to expand cache to 64MB or 3 modules to expand to 128MB per

 

controller

 

Requires: Redundant controllers require equal amounts of cache.

 

 

FR-SWXBP-SD

Shelf power supply for RA450

 

Up to 8 150W universal supplies in a RA450 pedestal or rackmount. N+1

 

redundancy requires 5 supplies, which ship standard with the product. May add up

 

to 3 additional supplies for redundancy

 

 

FR-HS35X-BA

Single cache battery

 

Includes: One battery in an SBB

 

 

FR-HS35X-BB

Dual cache battery

 

 

FR-SWXBF-AA

Dual speed fan kit, included in RA450 pedestal and rack (not required – used only
