Ready-to-Go Cluster Components

Although there are several Ready-to-Go Cluster configurations available, the following example lists the components of the Ready-to-Go Cluster using the 7305.

The DIGITAL Server 7305HA is a H9A10 white cabinet 1.70m high (34U) dual AC-In Power Distribution Unit containing:

Two 7305R DIGITAL Servers each with:

One 64-bit Alpha EV5.6 533Mhz with 4MB cache

Integrated S3 Trio SVGA graphic controller with 1MB VRAM

One CDROM drive

One 1.44MB Diskette drive

One 4.3GB UltraWide SCSI disk

One 100Mb/s Ethernet Adapter for Cluster communication

One 100Mb/s Ethernet Adapter for LAN Network Connection

One two-channel UltraWide SCSI Single Ended adapter

One one-channel UltraWide SCSI Differential adapter

One 128MB ECC EDO RAM option (4 x 32MB DIMM)

Two 450W power supply

One RA7000 RAID Array with:

One HSZ70 controller with 64MB cache and 24 SBB Slots

Two AC-In modules

One Environment Module

Eight 180W power supplies

One 4.3GB UltraWide SCSI disk

Components NOT included in the Ready-to-Go Clusters

The following components are not included in the Ready-to-Go Clusters:

Tape drives

Tapes drives must be ordered separately.

Servers disk drives

Servers contain only one 4GB drive. Additional drives must be ordered separately.

RAID Subsystem disk drives

RAID Subsystem contains only one 4.3GB drive. Additional drives must be ordered separately.

Note: The drives for servers and RAID subsystems are different.
