Presetting Radio Stations

You can store up to 30 of your favorite radio stations as presets.

1		Tune into the station that you
		want to store as a preset.
2		Press the [MEMORY] button.
	MEMORY TUNING MODE	The MEMORY indicator appears and
	CLEAR	the preset number flashes.

3	While the MEMORY indicator is
	displayed (about 8 seconds), use
	PRESET
	the PRESET [ ]/[ ] buttons to
	select a preset from 1 through 30.
	In this example, preset #3 is selected.

4		Press the [MEMORY] button
	MEMORY TUNING MODE	again to store the station.
		The station is stored and the preset
	CLEAR
		number stops flashing.
		Repeat this procedure for all of your
		favorite radio stations.

Selecting Preset Stations

1	Use the [TUNER] input selector
TUNER	button to select either AM or FM.

2	Use the PRESET [ ]/[ ] but-
PRESET	tons, or the remote controller’s
	CH [+/–] button to select the pre-
	sets.

Deleting Presets

1		Select the preset that you want to
		delete.
2		See the previous section.
		While holding down the [MEM-
		ORY] button, press the
	MEMORY TUNING MODE [TUNING MODE] button.
	CLEAR	The selected preset is deleted and its
		number disappears from the display.

Displaying Radio Information

1		Press the [DISPLAY] button
	DISPLAY	repeatedly to cycle through the

available information.

When the input source is AM or FM:

Band, frequency & preset #

Band & listening mode

When tuned to an RDS radio station broadcasting PS information (European models only):

Station name & preset #

Band, frequency & preset #*

Band & listening mode

*This information is displayed for about five seconds, then the previously displayed information reappears.
