UP-A1 series Dock for iPod—Continued

aArrow [q]/[w] and ENTER buttons

Used to navigate menus and select items.

bPrevious [7] button

Restarts the current song. Press it twice to select the previous song.

cRewind [5] button

Press and hold to rewind.

dPause [3] button

Pauses playback.

eREPEAT button

Used with the repeat function.

fMUTING button (53)

Mutes or unmutes the AV receiver.

gALBUM +/– button

Selects the next or previous album.

hVOL [q]/[w] button (51)

Adjusts the volume of the AV receiver.

iPLAYLIST [e]/[r] buttons

Selects the previous or next playlist on the iPod.

jRETURN button

Exits the menu or returns to the previous menu.

kPlay [1] button

Starts playback. If the component is off, it will turn on automatically.

lNext [6] button

Selects the next song.

mFast Forward [4] button

Press and hold to fast forward.

nStop [2] button

Stops playback and displays a menu.

oRANDOM button

Used with the shuffle function.

Status messages

Note:

In case of a transmission error without a status message appearing in the front panel, check the connection to your iPod.

UP-A1 series Dock in connection with the check

This unit is in the middle of recognizing the connection with your iPod.

This unit is in the middle of acquiring song lists from your iPod.

UP-A1 series Dock does not support the control

The iPod being used is not supported by this unit.

UP-A1 series Dock is connected

Your iPod is properly stationed in a UP-A1 series Dock connected to the UNIVERSAL PORT jack of this unit, and the connection between your iPod and this unit is complete.

When connection is confirmed, “UP-A1” is displayed for about 8 seconds.

UP-A1 series Dock is not connected

Your iPod was removed from a UP-A1 series Dock con- nected to the UNIVERSAL PORT jack of this unit. Station your iPod back in a UP-A1 series Dock con- nected to the UNIVERSAL PORT jack of this unit.
