Connection of Telephone Line and Modem Setup

Your PC has a built-in modem and a cable attached to it. You can enjoy the Internet and e-mail services by simply connecting your PC to the telephone line.

1.Plug the attached modem cable into the Modem jack of your PC until it clicks. Insert the cable connector into the jack in the correct direction.

2.Plug the other end of the modem cable into the telephone line wall jack.

If a telephone set is already connected to the telephone line, unplug the cable of the telephone set.

Tips

Purchase a line splitter if you wish to plug in your telephone set and your PC to the same telephone line. Remember that you cannot use the telephone set and The Internet services simultaneously even if you have installed the line splitter.
