Turning on the DVD Changer Receiver

Before connecting

Make sure that all the connections from pages 15 to 21 are complete (the connection to the TV is required).

Turning on the DVD Changer Receiver may cause a momentary power surge, which might interfere with other electrical equipment such as computers. If this happens, use a wall outlet on a different circuit.

Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

The DVD Changer Receiver enters the standby mode and the STANDBY indicator lights up.

Press STANDBY/ON on the DVD Changer Receiver or the remote controller to turn on the DVD Changer Receiver.

The light and display on the DVD Changer Receiver’s front panel light. At the same time, the STANDBY indicator goes off.

To put the DVD Changer Receiver in the standby mode, press STANDBY/ON on the unit or the remote controller.

Be sure to set the volume to minimum before putting the unit in the standby mode for the next use to avoid sudden loud sound reproduction.

While in the STANDBY mode, the DVD Changer Receiver can receive signals from the remote controller.

Setting the STANDBY/ON button to standby does not shut off the power completely.
