The chapters or tracks of the disc are played in random order.

RAN	Press RANDOM.
DO
M	The random playback starts.

The Random Play display appears on the screen.

To play Discs and Tracks in random order

Press RANDOM and REPEAT repeatedly to select “Repeat All Discs” during playback.

Discs and Tracks are played in random order repeatedly.

To turn off the random play display

Press ON SCREEN or CLR.

The menu is switched off when no operation is performed for about 5 seconds.

To cancel random play

Press RANDOM so that RANDOM indicator goes off or select “Standard Play”.

Each time you press RANDOM, random play will turn on and off.

Random Play ↔ Standard Play

The Standard Play display appears when random is off.

Notes

•You cannot play DVDs in random order.

•When playing a PBC-compatible Video CD and PBC is on, you cannot play it in random order. To use random play, press TOP MENU and select “PBC off”, then press RANDOM.
