LEDs and Push Buttons

Programmable Flag Push Buttons (SW10–13)

Four push buttons, SW10–13, are provided for general-purpose user input. The buttons connect to the PF0-3programmable flag pins of the proces- sor. The push buttons are active high and, when pressed, send a high (1) to the processor. Refer to “LEDs and Push Buttons” on page 1-13for more information on how to use the flags to program the processor. The push button enable switch (SW5) is capable of disconnecting the push but- tons from its corresponding PF signal (refer to “Push Button Enable Switch (SW5)” on page 2-11). The programmable flag signals and associ- ated switches are shown in Table 2-14.

Power LED (LED7)

When LED7 is lit (green), it indicates that power is being properly supplied to the board.

Reset LED (LED8)

When LED8 is lit, it indicates that the master reset of all the major ICs is active.
