Using Features and Options

6.3 Remote Monitor Panel

As an option, you can install RMPs to monitor the operation of the UPS system from virtually any location within your facility, up to 500 ft from the UPS. Each RMP contains backlit status indicators and a local horn. You can flush-mount or surface-mount an RMP on a desktop, wall, or wherever you have a serial interface line. A maximum of two monitoring accessories (RMPs, Relay Interface Modules, or Supervisory Contact Modules) can be installed. See Table 6-1for the number of accessories permitted. Figure 6-3shows an RMP.
