[1]Do not mix “W,” “WD,” and “LW” model drives on the daisy chain. However, an “LW” drive may operate on a “W” bus if the drive oper- ates only in the single-ended I/O transmission mode. Install the “LVD” jumper shown in Figure 16 to force single-ended I/O opera- tion. The external terminator [3] will be required on the “LW” drive if it is the last drive or only drive on the I/O daisy chain.
