4.7 OPERATION AT FULL CACHE (RECORDING TIME)

The OM-550 includes a battery-backed, 28-Kb data cache. The cache is erased when the RUN or PROG keys are pressed and new data is stored during logging. The OM- 550 can be programmed to stop when the data cache is full or to log continuously and overwrite the oldest data when the cache fills.

When the RUN key is pressed, the selected operation and the time required to fill the cache is displayed. In this example, the unit will stop on a full cache:

Operation at full cache is determined during programming. To program the OM-550 to stop logging when the cache is full, answer the programming prompts as follows:
