4.13 TADJUST

Tadjust is a cumulative value set during programming and summed with each Temperature channel's data during logging. It is cleared to a value of +00.0 at Manual Reset and on entry to the CAL mode.

Use Tadjust to correct temperature readings for batch variances in thermocouple wire or to align the readings with another measurement device.

Tadjust is programmed differently from other values because its use is different. The Tadjust value is cumulative. When a value of +0.2°C is selected during programming, that amount is added to the present Tadjust value.

For example, if the user wants to read exactly like another instrument, and if Tadjust=- 00.3° and the readings are one-tenth of a degree below the other instrument, then increase Tadjust by +00.1. The final Tadjust value will be -00.2° and the two units will now produce the same readings.
