4-3-7-2.MAC Age Interval

To configure a different MAC Age Interval, type the number of seconds that an inactive MAC address remains in the switch’s address table before it is deleted. Once the address is removed from the table, a device will have to send out broadcast packets to be relearned by the switch and have its address put in the table. The valid range is 300 to765 seconds. Default is 300 seconds.

Actions->

<Edit>: Configures all items. When finished, pressing ESC returns to the action menu line.

<Save>: Saves all configured values.

<Quit>: Exits this page and returns to previous menu.
