Interpreting Status LEDs for the Secure Port Module

The Status LEDs indicate whether the Secure Port Module is operating properly. The following table describes the status possibilities for each.

LED

LED Color

Meaning of the LED

 

 

 

POWER

green

Indicates the system is receiving power.

 

off

Indicates the system is not receiving power.

 

amber

Indicates the system has initially received power.

 

 

 

STATUS

blinking

Indicates the system is up and operational and that the power source is

 

green

working properly.

 

green

Indicates the system has a problem.

 

off

Indicates the Secure Port Module is not operational.

 

 

 

Interpreting Ethernet Port Status LEDs for All Modules

The port Status LEDs indicate whether any of the ports on the modules are operating properly. The following table describes the status possibilities for each.

LINK

green

Indicates a successful link has been established.

 

blinking

Indicates the port is attempting to establish a link.

 

green

 

 

off

Indicates the port has not established a link with another device.

 

 

 

TX/RX

green

Indicates the port is successfully passing packets back and forth to a

 

 

destination device.

 

blinking

Indicates the port is attempting to pass packets back and forth to a

 

green

destination device.

 

off

Indicates the port does not have a device connected to it.
