The device has a built-in super user that has full access to the device. The default username and password for the super user are show in Table 5-12

Note: The super user cannot access the device via the serial interface.

Note: Change the super user password as soon as possible. Failure to do so will pose a severe security risk and will allow unauthorized users to access the device.

Navigation

After logging into the freeView IP 800, the main page shown in Figure 5-3will be displayed. This page consists of three parts: the buttons on the upper side allow the user to navigate within the web interface (see Table 5-3 for details). The lower left frame contains a navigation bar which allows the user to switch between the different sections of the unit. The lower right frame displays details of the menu item selected on the left frame.
