Configuring Port Parameters

Configuring Store-and-Forwarding

Store-and-forwarding is a port’s ability to store incoming packets before forwarding them.

To configure a port’s store-and-forwarding ability:

Click PortCtrl.

You do not have to select any port on the front-panel image.

The Port Control table appears.

Click once on the row of the port you want to config- ure.

Click Modify.

The “Modify Dialog” box appears.

Open the StNFw drop-down menu and select Enable.

Click Apply.

The port is configured for store-and-forwarding.
