About This Manual

This manual introduces the IntraSpection Personality Module for the fol- lowing device:

❏The Asanté IntraStack 6000 Series Ethernet switch

This manual deﬁnes a Personality Module and explains how to install and use the IntraStack 6000 Series Personality Module.

Chapter Contents

This manual is divided into the following chapters:

❏Chapter 1,“Introduction,” describes IntraSpection Per- sonality Modules and the system requirements needed to install and use one.

❏Chapter 2,“Installation” explains how to install the IntraStack 6000 Series Personality Module.

❏Chapter 3,“Accessing the Device,” explains how to access the Personality Module’s Device Page, which allows for management of an IntraStack 6014DSB and any installed expansion units.

❏Chapter 4,“Management” explains how to perform some basic management functions.

❏Chapter 5,“Menus,” describes each management menu and its contents.
