Alias Manager

MegaVision allows you to assign aliases to MAC addresses, easing identification of network devices and stations. Each network device (a workstation, switch, hub, printer, etc) has it’s own unique 12 hexadecimal digit MAC-Address. This MAC-Address is associated with the network interface, used to connect the device. The first 6 digits denote the device vendor. The user may assign an alias to any complete MAC address or the 6-digit vendor code. The Alias manager includes the 6-digit vendor codes for most vendors. Once an alias defined it will be shown in many MegaVision windows instead of raw MAC-address.
