9Place 10 more sheets of blank paper of the same size on top of the printed test pattern page.

10Close the original cover, or the duplexing document feeder if it is installed.

11Press the [Start] key.

The printed test pattern is scanned.

12Based on the scanned image, the gradation levels are automatically adjusted. After the gradation levels are adjusted, the Admin. Mode screen appears again.

13Repeat steps 5 through 12 three times.

14Touch [Fin. Time], and then touch [Fin. Time] again in the screen that appears.
