DC Power Options

Because the CB1 Systems operate on DC power, users have the option to run off any user supplied 12-volt DC power source, such as a battery set, car-lighter adapter, etc., (provided they use the proper cabling). MAGMA offers an optional 6-foot long battery cable (CBLCB1XLR) for use with CB1 systems. The cable provides connection to the CB1 chassis on one end, and includes a 4-pin Male XLR connector on the other end, which fits the majority of 12-volt professional battery packs.

This cable may be purchased directly from MAGMA for use with the CB1. Please visit our web site at www.magma.com for more information.

The CB1 System is designed to accommodate DC input in the range 9- 16 VDC (the most common voltages for batteries in this industry), and draw a maximum load of 45 Watts. Please use this information when consulting with your local audio/video supplier when reviewing battery options, and sizing.

BatterySizing/Selection:
