You are now ready to use a WAP browser from your PDA.

Connecting

The following steps describe how to connect to the Internet from an iPAQ (but you can do this from any PDA device) using your mobile phone as the "modem". Refer to your PDA user guide for device-specific instructions.

To connect to the Internet:

1.Align your WAP phone and your iPAQ so that their infrared ports are facing each other.

2.Activate the Infrared functionality on your WAP phone.

3.From your iPAQ, select Start Programs Connection My Connection.

4.Enter the User ID supplied by your ISP in the User name field, and type the password in the Password field.

5.Click the Connect button.

Your WAP phone starts dialing, and the number is displayed on the phone.

6.Make sure that the number your phone begins dialing is correct. If it is not, you will need to go back and check that the phone number details and dialing settings you specified are correct.

A notification displays to confirm that you are connected.
