User Parameters (For Facsimile)

Function Key Set Key Number Pad

Your facsimile machine has several basic settings (User Parameters) to help you keep records of the documents you send or receive. For example, the built-in clock keeps the current date and time, and your LOGO and ID Number help to identify you when sending, or receiving documents.

Enter the Key Operator ID using the Number Pad, then press

Enter the new date and time using the Number Pad.

Ex:

Month: October

Date : 11th

Year : 2008

Time : 3:00 PM

If you make a mistake, use or to move the cursor over the incorrect number, then overwrite it with a correct one.

The month will be displayed in numbers on the LCD display (Ex: 10)

and printed as abbreviated month names (Ex: OCT) in journals.

NOTE

1.The clock of your machine is equipped with D.S.T (Daylight Saving Time) system. Refer to Fax Parameter No.35 (DAY- LIGHT TIME). For more details, refer to the Operating Instructions (For Advanced Operations) on the provided CD-ROM.

2.The current Date & Time must be set because it is required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991. (For details, refer to FCC NOTICE at the end of this manual)

3.On occasion, the clock may need adjustment. (lunar inequality: ±1 minute)
