1.Lift the transparent part.
2.Insert the required telephone wires into the holes of the plug. Then press the transparent part back into the black part.
Note: Do not strip the wires.
Insert the wires all the way into the plug.

Notes
•A facsimile must be connected to EXTN.6 jack if an optional DISA/FAX Detect card (KX- T20691) is installed. See page 16 to install the card. System programming is also required. The “#12 Fax Connection” program should be assigned as “ENABLE”. See page 25. The “#24 Call Incoming Mode Selection” program should be assigned as “DISA”. See page 28.
•The EXTN.1 through EXTN.6 jacks correspond to extension numbers 21 through 26 respec- tively.
•You can use cable holders to fix the wires.
