6.3.4User Interface of the WBM

The dialogs of the ELS are made up of a device status field, a menu tree, and a data window.

Device status field

The display in the device status field represents the LED display of the ELS. In addition, the transmission rate and duplicity are represented by a separate row of LED symbols.

The device status field is displayed and updated in every menu so that you have an overview of the current status of the ELS at all times.

The device status field also shows the ELS type (for example ELS-TP40M), the IP address (for example 141.73.10.89) and the location (if "System Location" has been assigned).

Menu tree

By navigating through the menu tree, you can open the individual windows of the ELS WBM in much the same way as when working in the Windows Explorer by clicking the relevant icons.

Data window

The data window displays the current values and allows you to enter new settings. Settings that cannot be modified are displayed in gray.
