6.3.11Statistic Information

Clicking the Statistic Information menu opens the window shown in Figure 6-17. The ELS has internal statistical counters that count the number of bad received frames and collisions for each port.

The statistical counters have a numeric range from "0 to 65535". An overflow results if this value is exceeded.

For each port, the ELS can detect errors (CRC, defective frames, etc.) in received frames and count them (receive errors).

Collisions occurring on a port are also detected and counted (collision errors).

Get Current Values

If you click the "Get Current Values" button, you obtain the values currently stored on the ELS.
