Power Display (green and red LEDs)
The status of the ELS TP40M is indicated by a green and a red LED:
Status | Meaning |
lit green | Power supply L+ is connected |
not lit | Power supply L+ is not connected or <14 V |
lit or flashing red | The red LED should go off after "Power on" after approximately one |
| minute otherwise the ELS TP40M device is defective. |
Port Status Display (green/yellow LEDs)
The status of the ports is signaled by four LEDs:
| Status | Meaning |
Port 1 to 4 | LED lit green | TP link exists, no data reception |
Port 1 to 4 | LED lit yellow | TP link exists, receiving data at TP port |
Port Status Display During Startup
Following startup, the LEDs are lit in the order shown:
●Red LED (approx. 0.5 s)
●Green power LED (green) and all yellow LEDs for approx. 13 s
●Red/green LEDs flash quickly for approx. 1.5 s
The device is operational after a further 3 seconds.
