Daisy-Chaining- If the CD-ROM you are installing is one of two or more SCSI devices you have connected to your system, you will need to use a custom built SCSI interface cable. Remember that the termi- nator jumper on the CD-ROM drive must have the jumper installed when the drive is the last device in the chain.

TXM6401F1/XM-6401B DAISY-CHAIN CONNECTION (MULTIPLE DRIVES)

Notes:

1.Terminator jumper must be jumpered when CD-ROM is the last or only device on the SCSI BUS.

2.Terminator jumper should be removed when CD is in a "daisy-chain" and is NOT the last drive.

3.The TXM6401F1 uses an external terminator which must be attached to the last drive of a "daisy chain". The external terminator is an optional item.
