4.Enter ISDN phone number 2.

5.Enable Auto-Detect SPIDs/Switch (this option is only valid in North America).

6.View the status by using the key sequence Ctrl+V. An illustra- tion of the status screen is shown in Figure 2-16 on page 26.

VT 100 Terminal Status Buffer

The status buffer can be displayed at any time after entering the menu structure. Pressing Ctrl + V displays the Express XRT Sta- tus menu. The last 20 status messages generated during the oper- ation of the unit are displayed with relevant status items. See Figure 2-16 on page 26. Status messages provide information about call progress, ISDN link status and error conditions. The most recent status message appears as Status 1, with the remain- ing status messages appearing in descending order. The status buffer messages and their descriptions are listed in the appendix Status Buffer Messages on page 73.

Press Ctrl + C to return to the Configuration menu.
