Using the Printer

The printer can print on roll paper (80 mm or 58 mm wide) or 80 mm wide formed sheet paper. When printing on formed sheet paper, use the paper holder (HA-B93PH) sold separately.

Installing the Roll Paper

1.Check that the power is off. If the power is on, always make sure to turn it off by pressing the power key.

2.Press the ridged ( ) portions ( 1 ) of the splash protect cover while spreading apart the locks on the left and right sides ( 2 ) to disengage them as shown in the illustration followed by opening the splash protect cover ( 3 ).

3.Slide the lock knobs on the left and right sides of the roll paper holder as shown in the illustration to align at the FREE position ( 1 ), and then push up the ridged ( ) portion ( 2 ) to open.

Please note that the positions of the lock knobs on the left and right sides are different.

4.Peel off the seal from the roll paper and install as shown in the illustration.
