SETTING UP SHOOTING FUNCTION

Select the quality mode

Using the SELECT button in the image quality mode, allows three types of image quality to be selected.(The selected image quality will flash.)

Super fine quality

Fine quality

Normal quality

The capacity of memory is determined by the quality of image that is selected. You can obtain three types of image quality.

Select the appropriate image quality from the previous 3 modes.

Reference

The image file is normally stored in *.jpg but selecting the highest image quality enables *.tif files to be used. Refer to page 42 for details of selecting the image file format.

You can get the best quality shot with *.tif file which is for the professionals. However, The number of the shot is decreased and the time it is saved in the memory card is lengthened.

Select the Image resolution

You can choose the file size (large or small) by using the select button to set (L) or (S).

If the image resolution is large, the capacity for remaining pictures will decrease.

L : 16001200 pixels

S : 800 600 pixels

Reference

The picture quality and image resolution determines the number of images that can be shot. The image resolution stored in the memory card can not be changed once an image is captured, the size of the stored file cannot be altered
