4SETUP AND PREPARATION BEFORE OPERATION

4.4 Offset/Gain Setting

MELSEC-A

When changing the I/O conversion characteristics, follow the procedure below.

START

Set all channels to any of "user range settings 1 to 3" in the sequence program.

Short the TEST terminals (across 8-9) to enter the test mode.

Power ON

Start data link.

Make sure that the "RUN" LED is off.

Every time the SELECT/SET switch is moved to "SELECT", the offset/gain adjusting LEDs lit change as shown below.

Change the lit offset/gain adjusting LEDs with the SELECT/SET switch, and make sure that the LED of the channel whose offset/gain will be set and the "OFFSET" LED are lit.
