NORMAL PLAYBACK

Normal Playback

1Turn on the power to the VCR and TV monitor.

2Load the video cassette tape.

3Press the REC/PLAY SPEED button to select the playback speed.

°The selected playback speed is displayed on the digital display.

Tracking Control

If there is noise in the image during playback,

1While looking at the playback picture, press and hold the TRACKING/V. STILL+ button to minimize the noise.

2If it cannot be minimized, press the TRACKING/V. STILL– button.

NOTE:

A slow motion effect or accelerated playback effect can be achieved by using a slower or faster playback speed than the speed used for

°If necessary, adjust the tracking to eliminate the noise from the picture.

NOTES:

A tape recorded on a time lapse VCR produced by another manufacturer can not be played back on this unit.

A tape recorded on this VCR cannot be played back on a time lapse VCR produced by another manufacturer.

Audio Playback

The playback speed has to be the same as the recording speed, for normal playback of the audio.

For a tape recorded in 12-hour and 24-hour recording

modes, to playback the audio, press the AUDIO ON/MENU button after pressing the PLAY button. “?” will be displayed to the left of the playback speed on the digital display.

NOTE:

Noise will appear in the image when audio playback is used in 12- or 24-hour modes.
