PROGRAM TIMER RECORDING

Setting the Holidays

By setting the holidays, timer recording will be conducted on those days, as set for Sundays.

1Press the MENU button to display the (MAIN MENU 1) menu.

2Press the SHIFT ] button to select the “8. HOLIDAY SET” line, then press the MENU button.

øThe (HOLIDAY SET) menu appears.

3Press the DATA l (or j) button to set the month of the holiday, then press the SHIFT * button.

4Press the DATA l (or j) button to set the day of the holiday.

5Press the SHIFT ], \, +or * button until the next line to set is flashing.

øRepeat steps 3 to 5 to set up to 20 holidays.

6Press the MENU EXIT button to save the settings.

NOTES:

œIf setting holidays, be sure that a timer recording is set for Sunday. If not, this function will not operate.

œIf a timer recording for Sundays is entered, the holidays timer recording will not function if the program timer recording mode is set to “N”.

œTo erase a setting, follow the same procedure as above, but at step 3 and 4, enter -- instead of a setting.

Changing a Program Timer Recording

1Press the MENU button to display the (MAIN MENU 1) menu.

2Press the SHIFT ] button to select the “7. TIMER SET” line, then press the MENU button.

ø The (TIMER SET) menu appears.

3Press the SHIFT ], \, +or * button until the setting to correct is flashing.

4Press the DATA l (or j) button to correct the setting.

5Press the MENU EXIT button to save the settings.

6Press the TIMER button.

To Cancel a Program Timer Recording

1Press the MENU button to display the (MAIN MENU 1) menu.

2Press the SHIFT ] button to select the “7. TIMER SET” line, then press the MENU button.

ø The (TIMER SET) menu appears.

3Press the SHIFT ], \, +or * button until the “Y” corresponding to the timer recording to cancel is flashing.

4Press the DATA l (or j) button to select “N”.

5Press the MENU EXIT button to save the settings.

6Press the TIMER button.

To Cancel all Program Timer Recordings

1Press the MENU button to display the (MAIN MENU

1)menu.

2Press the SHIFT ] button to select the “7. TIMER SET” line, then press the MENU button.

øThe (TIMER SET) menu appears.

3Press the MENU RESET button.

øAll programmed timer recordings are erased.

4Press the MENU EXIT button, the normal screen is displayed.
