WHEN YOU SECURE THE PLAYER IN THE CAR YOU MUST STRAP IN THE PLAYER WITH THE LAP BELT IN THE REAR SEAT. DO NOT USE EITHER SIDE SEAT BELT TO SECURE THE PLAYER. MAKE SURE THE BELT IS AS TIGHT AS POSSIBLE, AS THE PLAYER COULD MOVE IF THE CAR MAKES ABRUPT STOPS AND/OR STARTS. YOU COULD ENDANGER THE LIVES OF OCCUPANTS IF THE PLAYER IS NOT PROPERLY SECURED.

Things to Consider Before You Connect

Before looking at the specifics of the mobile DVD/VCP player, please take a moment to review the following precautions:

When in a car, the mobile DVD/VCP player must be powered from the DC POWER jack on the back panel. The mobile DVD/ VCP player’s power should only be turned on when the car’s ignition is turned on.

Note: To prevent the car’s battery from discharging, disconnect the DC power cord from the cigarette lighter socket when not in use.

Use only the approved power cord supplied with your mobile DVD/VCP player. Always disconnect the power cord from the lighter socket or wall outlet before disconnecting it from the player.
