Using the SEARCH PROGRAM
The following functions can be used for a disc you have recorded on.
Selecting programs to play
RAM DVD-R
A list of programs is created as you record them. You can use this list to find the programs you want to watch.
(1)While played, stopped, or paused, press [SEARCH].
(2)Use [ , ] to select the program you want to watch and press [ENTER].
For example, when you select program number 2.
•Play of the images that were playing in the background continues.
To clear the program list
Press [SEARCH] or [RETURN].
For your reference:
•Titles are only displayed if you have given the program a title.
•The unit’s clock must be set correctly.
About the program list
Program number, Input signal name, recording date,
time recording started, program title (if entered)
•Program 1 is selected in the example.
Write-protected:
•Displayed when you have protected the program. Program 1 has been protected in the example.
Copy-protected/Different TV system (PAL or NTSC):
•Displayed when you have recorded a program that has copy protection.
•Displayed when the program failed to record so that the TV system of the program is different from the setting in
SETUP.
NTSC / PAL:
•Displayed when you recorded using a different encoding system from that of the TV system currently selected on the unit.
Unable to play:
•Displayed if you cannot play the program.
Currently recording:
•Displayed when the program is being recorded.
Scroll bar
•If there are more than 5 programs, you can move down
the list by using [ , ] and this bar shows your approximate position in the list.
Total number of programs
•Shows the total number of programs.
Sub menu
•Displayed when you use [ ].
•Erase a program (Erase).
•Enter or edit a title (Enter Title).
•Check program’s contents (Properties).
•
•Erase part of a program (Partial Erase).
•Divide a selected program into two (Divide).
For your reference:
•The list can show up to 99 programs that you have recorded.
•When using
•The contents of the list are recorded on the disc.
RAM
•When the disc is protected, you can only access “Properties”. Release the protection to access other items.
